Album released in 1966 by Randy Weston, an American jazz pianist of Jamaican heritage who was active for a long period from the 1950s. It featured Booker Ervin (ts), Ray Copeland (tp,fh), Vishnu Wood (b), Lenny McBrowne (dr), Big Black (per), Sir Harold Murray ( per). This is a masterpiece among masterpieces, showcasing soulful post-bop with a precious touch of blues and the soul of Africa. The title track B1 in particular reflects a strong taste of African music. This is the Japanese pressing, released in 1972.
