This album was released in 1984 by Joao Maria Centeno Gorjao Jorge, aka Rao Kyao, a Portuguese reed player who started his career in modern jazz and since the 80s has developed a unique style mixing folk music from various countries. In addition to the progressive tracks like A3, with its symphonic chant chorus, and the ethnic tracks like A4, with its chant chorus reminiscent of Africa's majestic land, and the gentle new age tracks that seem to be at one with nature, the album combines a variety of elements and consistently delivers ethno music full of positive energy.
