This is the only solo album released in 1982 by Raphael Gimenez, a French guitarist who also participated in "Geographies" released by Hector Zazou on Crammed Discs' Made To Measure series in 1984. The melodious marimba and bass play in unison with the extended electric guitar on A2, the Krautrock-like development and delicate arrangement on B2, and other contemporary and symphonic pieces reminiscent of Gong after Pierre Moerlen became leader in 1978. It is a contemporary and symphonic progressive jazz-rock album reminiscent of Gong after 1978 when Pierre Moerlen became the leader. (Chee)
