This is an album released in 1967 by Ray Bryant, an American pianist who joined the backing bands of Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie as a house pianist for Blue Note in the 50's and became popular for his R&B and soul-inspired style from the late 50's and early 60's. Recorded the same year in a New York studio with Richard Davis (b), Freddie Waits (ds), Art Farmer (tp,fh), and SNookie Young (tp,fh). Like "Lonesome Traveller" released the previous year, this groovy soul-jazz masterpiece does not disappoint. This is the Japanese reissue from Baybridge Records’ <Argo Cadet Original Collection> in 1993.
