An album released in 1984 by the jazz quartet Reflexionen, centered around Swiss saxophonist Urs Leimgruber, who has also participated in Christy Doran's group and released collaborative works with Barre Phillips, among others. The quartet includes Don Friedman (piano), Bobby Burri (bass), and Joel Allouche (drums, percussion). The album features sophisticated contemporary jazz pieces, such as the long track A1, where soft-touch piano and soprano saxophone dance gracefully. Despite its freeform improvisation, the album exudes a sense of gentleness, reminiscent of ECM's elegant style. The ethno-jazz track B2, featuring tabla rhythms, also stands out, evoking the sound of Oregon.

A1 : The New Apartment
B2 : For Joel
