This is a duo album released in 1987 by American pianist Richard Beirach and American guitarist John Abercrombie, both of whom have recorded extensively for ECM. John Abercrombie plays guitar and synthesizer throughout the album. In A1, the minimalistic synth bass and the effect of the guitar synthesizer create a mysterious world similar to that of John Hassell. In A2, a lyrical acoustic piano melody and an abyssal guitar/synthesizer melody floated in the air. The performance is full of spatiality from start to the end.
