Focusing on the relationship between architecture and music, the album deconstructs and reconstructs contemporary Renaissance music from East and West using digital synthesizers and technology based on the theme of the Renaissance painting "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli. He also makes extensive use of the pentatonic scale to create electronic collage music with a strange sense of European yet somehow Eastern atmosphere. Original Italian pressing.
