Released in 1982, this is the sixth album by Puerto Rican percussionist Roberto Roena, whose sixth album was featured in the "Obscure Sound" guidebook. The album features the great singer Adalberto Santiago, also known as Fania All Stars, on vocals. This is New York Latin at its best, with highly sophisticated, urban arrangements and extremely groovy performances. Adalberto Santiago's voice is taut and full of melancholy, and the album is a masterpiece of salsa. The best tracks are A4 and B4.
