坂本龍一 & David Sylvian
Forbidden Colours / The Seed and The Sower
Virgin (Japan) 1983
VIPX-1697 (7”)
sleeve : EX-(one thin, small stain on the back side.)
media : EX+/EX+(some slightly noise.)

This 7" single was released in 1983 and features two tracks from the original soundtrack of Nagisa Oshima's film "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” in which Ryuichi Sakamoto performed and composed the music. The A-side is an arrangement of the film's theme song, sung by David Sylvian of Japan. It's a great song with the famous melody and David Sylvian's enchanting voice. The B-side is an instrumental track that was used in the movie, and it is a mysterious track that expresses Ryuichi Sakamoto's contemporary orientation with a synthesizer ensemble.

A: Forbidden Colours
B: The Seed and The Sower
