An American pianist who has been active on the front lines since the 1940s and has performed with numerous renowned jazz musicians such as Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, and Lester Young, Sadik Hakim released a leader album in 1978. This recording, featuring a trio with Errol Walters (bass) and Al Foster (drums), was recorded at a New York studio in 1977. All the tracks are original scores by Hakim, showcasing ultra-cool modal jazz that exudes an adult urban atmosphere, ranging from lively bebop to moody ballads. It's sophisticated and highly recommended. This original Danish pressing comes with a company inner sleeve.
