Salon Music is the Japanese new wave unit consisting of Hitoshi Yoshida and Hitomi Takenaka, who have been highly regarded in the UK since their debut. This is the 7" single cut from two tracks from their first album "My Girl Fridfay" released in 1983. The combination of a punkish beat using a drum machine, which can be said to be a classic example of techno-pop at the time, and Hitomi Takenaka's coquettish vocals shows off Salon Music's pop sensibility. In any case, it is influenced by YMO. The A-side was also used in a car commercial, which may have preceded the album's release.

A: Wrapped Up in Duet
B: Muscle Daughter
