This album was released in 1982 by Congolese singer Sam Mangwana, who was also a member of Franco's band T.P. O.K. Jazz. This album is a legitimate successor to the Congo Rock established by Franco, the master of the genre, and it is very pleasant to listen to the softly grooving tropical performance that incorporates the rumba rhythm from Cuba with elements of Nigerian Afro-funk and juju. You can also hear the flute, which is rare in rumba congolese. Sam Mangwana's vocals and the chorus by the band members are also great. I recommend the whole album.
