An album of flute performances by flutist Samuel Baron, released in 1971 from the renowned American label Nonesuch's contemporary music series. It features Karl Korte's 1971 work "Remembrances," Mario Davidovsky's 1962 work "Synchronisms No.1," and Meyer Kupperman's 1971 work "Superflute." All tracks are collaborations between flute and electronics/tape/synthesis process sounds, with Marc J. Aubort and Joanna Nickrenz responsible for the electronics engineering and tape editing. The ethereal sound of the flute and the pure electronic sounds moving through the stereo space stimulate the auditory senses, creating a superb cosmic sound in all these pieces. This is a must-listen for anyone who enjoys Don Cherry and John Appleton's bizarre masterpiece "Human Music," which was also featured in "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION."
