Austrian keyboardist Richard Schönherz, who was featured for his 1978 work 'What a Night' in the first edition of the guidebook 'Obscure Sound', ,released an album in 1987 with young American guitarist Peter Scott, who was 25 years old at the time. The album is filled with vibrant electronic new age music, featuring minimal beats from drum machines layered with colorful melodies and riffs from guitars and synthesizers. It shares a similar soundscape with works by Mark Isham, released by the same label, and Giles Reaves, released by MCA Master Series. Highly recommended.
