This was introduced in the guidebook "OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. This album was produced and released in 1983 at the young age of 25 by Seigen Ono, a top engineer whose talent had already blossomed in his early 20s and who was highly trusted by many artists, including late Ryuichi Sakamoto. It is the first in the <Music Interior> series, released simultaneously with "Ichiko," a solo album by Kazuko Hashimoto (Colored Music). Mariah members Yasuaki Shimizu, Masanori Sasaji, and Hideo Yamaki, all of whom were engineered by Seigen Ono, as well as artists with whom they are close friends, such as Yoshiaki Shirai and Toshihiro Nakanishi, participate on this album, which ranges from a modern classical sound with a beautiful ensemble of piano and strings to continental folk The album is an unmistakable masterpiece that presents a sound world like an abstract painting with a consistent sense of beauty despite its wide range of styles, from modern classical sounds with beautiful ensembles of piano and strings to percussive tracks with a continental ethnic feel and minimal contemporary compositions that are reminiscent of Steve Reich. This is what we mean by music that is pleasing to the ear.
