Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, one of the leading santoorists of North Indian classical Hindustani music, who has been active since the 1960s and has released over 100 works, and Hariprasad Chaurasia, a bansuri player who is also highly acclaimed for his performance of classical Hindustani music styles. This is a collaboration album accompanied by tabla player Pandit Kashinath Mishra and tambura player Mrs. Anuradha Chaurasia, the album is a gentle meditative sound world where the fine and resonant melody of the santur and the slightly dead tone of the bansuri float. The tension rises in the second half on both sides. It's just a wonderful performance.
