Featured in the guidebook "Obscure Sound" first edition, this is a masterpiece album released in 1980 by Simone, one of the most important female singers of the second generation of Brazilian MPB, active since the 1970s. A5, scored by Milton Nascimento and Fernando Brant, features mid-tempo rhythms with percussion, floating cutting guitars and synth pads, emotional orchestration. Simone's husky and expressive vocals make for a melancholy, mellow Balearic sound. Personally, this is one of my favourite Simone songs. Original Brazilian pressing.
