Featured in the first edition of the guidebook Obscure Sound, this is a masterpiece album released in 1980 by Simone, a prominent female singer representing the second generation of Brazilian MPB from the 1970s. The highlight is undoubtedly track A5, scored by Milton Nascimento and Fernando Brant. With a mid-tempo rhythm driven by percussion, floating cutting guitars, synth pads, and an emotional orchestra, combined with Simone's husky and expressive vocals, it creates a melancholic sound that could be described as emotional Balearic. It's personally my favorite song by Simone. This is the original Brazilian pressing.

A5: Amar
B2: Encontros e Depedidas
