The first solo 12-inch single by Siva, leader and bassist of the Hachioji, Tokyo-based instrumental reggae band Version Brothers. Released through the label run by Dotei Records, the excellent record store also based in Hachioji. Siva performs all instruments himself, with the recordings captured and mixed fully analogue through a 16-track open-reel MTR. Rooted in roots reggae, the music brings dub and electronics together through a highly individual sensibility, resulting in an outstanding organic groove. Mastering and cutting were handled by Pole of Scape Mastering in Berlin, Germany, achieving remarkably fine sound quality for a contemporary 12-inch release.
