Jazz Goes Swinging

This album is by the St. Tropez Jazz Octet, a group led by Belgian reed player Johnny Dover, who has been active as a composer and arranger since the 1950s. It is likely a work from the late 1960s. The thrilling horn section and open drumming on track A2 are particularly enjoyable, while track B4 features a summer breeze-like waltz jazz with a wonderful balance between flute and horns. This masterpiece is filled with pleasant swing jazz from a big band arrangement and is also known as a club jazz classic.
