This is a historic album released in 1964, recorded by Joao Gilberto and Antonio Carlos Jobim, the founders of bossa nova, and Stan Getz, the supreme saxophonist of cool jazz. The album contains many classic songs that have been handed down to the present day, including "The Girl from Ipanema" (A1) with Astrud Gilberto on vocals, but it is also worth noting the soft touch in the performance. This is the Japanese reissue with excellent sound quality, originally released in 1982 on Polydor's "The Bossa Nova Special" series.
