This album was featured in both the first edition and revised edition of the guidebook Obscure Sound. A masterpiece duo album released in 1981 by the enigmatic South African guitarist Steve Eliovson and percussionist Collin Walcott, known for his brilliant performances with Oregon and Codona. Eliovson’s acoustic guitar weaves delicate melodies that resonate deeply with the soul, blending seamlessly with Walcott’s organic percussion to create an infinitely beautiful soundscape of pure acoustic music. Tragically, this was the only album Eliovson ever released. After parting ways with ECM, he disappeared from the music scene without leaving behind any further works—a truly unfortunate loss.
