This is the seventh solo album released in 1983 by British guitarist Steve Hackett, who supported the first golden era of Genesis, the group led by Peter Gabriel. Following Ichiko Hashimoto and Seigen Ono, it was released as the third installment in the "Music Interior" series in Japan. The entire album consists of performances on acoustic guitar, with contributions from his younger brother John Hackett on flute and Nick Magnus on strings, while Steve himself also plays keyboards and strings. While rooted in British folk traditions, the album creates a fantastical world with a New Age flavor, enhanced by floating, atmospheric effects. It is a masterpiece.
