This is a 1969 leader album by American saxophonist Steve Marcus, who emerged with Jazz in the Classroom and the Buddy Rich Big Band, and left behind a series of classic albums with a sound that responded to the psychedelic movement in the mid-1960s and beyond. This album, recorded with Larry Coryell (g), Bob Moses (ds), Mike Nock (p), Dominic Cortese (acc), Chris Swansen (per), and others, is also full of powerful and psychedelic blues-jazz rock with a strong bellowing sound. Coryell's distorted guitar and Nock's aggressive backing piano are also on this album.
