Released in 1982, this is the second album for "Iroha" series by Japanese percussionist Tsutomu Yamashita, who has been making a name for himself in the field of classical and contemporary music since the late 1960s, and is best known for his rock-oriented live performances and work with Steve Winwood, Klaus Schulze and Michael Shrieve. This is the second album in the New Age Electronics series, which began with 1981's Iroha. It is an epic piece of conceptual music, featuring synthesizers, together with Takashi Kokubo and Sen Izumi, that expresses the world of Buddhism. Each of the three albums in the series depicts a world of great depth, but this one is the most serene and beautiful of them all.
