This album, released in 1982 by Japanese percussionist Tsutomu Yamashita, who gained prominence in the fields of classical and contemporary music from the late 1960s, is also known for his live performances in the rock scene and collaborations with artists like Steve Winwood, Klaus Schulze, and Michael Shrieve. It serves as a sequel to the double album Iroha "Ten" "Chi", which was released earlier the same year. The theme of this album is "water," and alongside Chin Izumi, Takashi Kokubo, Yukitoshi Morishige, and Hiroshi Takashima—who also contributed to the previous album—Yamashita employs a vast array of synthesizers to create a spectacular, meditative music inspired by Buddhist philosophy. The liner notes feature an essay by writer and Buddhist nun Harumi Setouchi (Jakuchō).
