A two-disc album released in 1971 by Sun Ra and his Solar-Myth Arkestra. Released as number 202 in BYG's Double Actuel series and recorded at Sun Studio in New York City from 1970 to 1971, the group features a total of 16 musicians, including key members John Gilmore, Ronnie Boykins, and Marshall Allen. Although the tune of each piece differs completely, the Moog synthesizer by San Ra and the Space Master keyboard instrument create a strange and bizarre melody, and the music is generally galactic with oriental elements. The early jazz grounding of the compositions is also backed by Sun Ra's years of experience. This is the Japanese pressing with obi, released in the same year as the French pressing. The insert is missing.
