ECM regulars Norwegian guitarist Terje Rypdal and American drummer Jack DeJohnette are joined by Czech bassist Miroslav Vitous on this classic trio album from 1981. Vitous's lyrical bass and Rypdal's deeply reverbed electric guitar float in the foggy, atmospheric air on A1. DeJohnette's funked up open drumming, Vitous' freeform bass solo and Rypdal's distorted guitar on B1. Recommended all round. This copy was released in Japan on Trio Records.
