Split album released in 1985 on the German contemporary/electronic music label Edition RZ, run by Robert Zank, who has released numerous experimental works by John Cage, David Tuder, Iannis Xenakis and many others. The album features the Japanese composer Takehito Shimazu, who taught at the Berlin Art School with Korean contemporary musician Isang Yun, Polish composer Boguslav Schaeffer, active since the 1960s, and Swedish composer Rolf Enstrom from the Electronic Music Studio (EMS). All of them are experimental and cosmic electronic music with music-concrete ideas, but the standout track is A1 by Takehito Shimazu, who creates a weightless state with various electronic sounds floating and scattering in the silence, which is extremely stimulating. It is like being bathed in the radiation of microscopic electronic sounds. Deadstock unused item now in stock.
