A 1981 release by singer-songwriter Taeko Onuki, who helped lay the foundation for Japan's pop scene, often referred to as "New Music," alongside artists like Tin Pan Alley, Tatsuro Yamashita, Yumi Matsutoya, and Minako Yoshida. This is her fifth album, featuring arrangers such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Nobuyuki Shimizu, Kazuhiko Kato, Kenji Omura, Norio Maeda, and Tatsuro Yamashita. The backing musicians include Sakamoto, Omura, Shimizu, Yukihiro Takahashi, Hideki Matsutake, Sotaro Hamaguchi from the YMO/Tin Pan Alley family, and Shuichi "Ponta" Murakami. The album showcases a pop style that elevates Onuki's compositions with era-specific arrangements, such as the samba pop track A2 featuring full computer programming, B2 with a 5/8 beat inspired by the jazz classic "Take 5," and the outstanding bossa arrangement of B3. Please note that the obi and insert are not included.

A2: Samba de mar
B2: Grand Prix
B3: La mer, le ciel
