This album was featured in both the first edition and the revised edition of the guidebook Obscure Sound. It is a promotional, non-commercial release produced in 1987 by the electronics company Sanyo for an air conditioner campaign. Side A features three high-quality organic ambient tracks composed by Japanese composer Takashi Kokubo, who has long been active in various scenes as an environmental sound artist. Side B contains field recordings of natural sounds, including ocean waves and birdsong. The release also comes with a booklet featuring photographs taken by photographer Katsumasa Tonegawa during a seaside journey with actor Tatsuya Fuji.
