This is a leader album released in 1973 by Terumasa Hino, a Japanese trumpeter who has long been at the forefront of international acclaim since the 1960s. Recorded live at The Jazzclub Domicile club in Munich, Germany in 1973 with the quintet of Mikio Masuda (p), Yoshio Ikeda (b), Motohiko Hino (ds) and Yuji Imamura (per). It is a masterpiece with great performances throughout, including A1, where Hino's trumpet spins a moody melody with intonation backed by a rhythm section of calm tension; A2, a cool blaze with primitive percussion and open drums; and B1, a 25:30 long session with cool opening and closing percussion. Original German pressing.
