A double album released in 1982 by the Art Ensemble of Chicago, a leading free/experimental jazz group that expresses the spirit of African peoples through music. A2 is an ultra-primitive ethnic jazz with a festive introduction by percussion and flute that makes you feel as if you are lost in the jungle, D2 is an organic dance of various sounds similar to Japanese taiko rhythms, and the trumpet sounds gently like the cry of an elephant, and D3 is a raging wave of percussion grooves. Please feel the real ethnic jazz that is common to Don Cherry and Ossian.
