Dick Morrissey, a British saxophonist, emerged on the British jazz scene in the early 60's, was a core member of the jazz rock/progressive rock band IF in the 70's, and formed the group Morrissey Mullen with Jim Mullen in the 80's. This album was released in 1967. The uplifting and groovy bebop A3 and B3 are excellent, but this time, Morrissey's moody slow jazz with emotional phrasing is the one you should pay attention to.
