The Ganelin Trio
Catalogue - Live in East Germany
Leo Records (UK) 1984
LR 102 (LP)
sleeve : EX+(SOC)
media : NM-/NM-(very slightly noises on some parts, still fine.)

The album features Lithuanian-Israeli keyboardist/multi-instrumentalist Vyacheslav Ganelin, drummer Vladimir Tarasov (whose 1990 masterpiece Atto IV was featured in the OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION guidebook), and reed player Vyacheslav Ganelin. The album was recorded live in East Berlin in 1979, and it is a storm of free improvisation, with waves of sound overflowing like a flood and bursting with tremendous tension. However, it is not a list of meaningless sounds, but a musical expression of nature and all things in the forest, just like Ornette Colmane and Don Cherry. Released in 1984 on Leo Records in the UK.
