This is a two-vinyl set released in 1968 by Jazz Composers Orchestra. This was produced under the direction of Michael Mantler as part of the "Jazz Composers Orchestra Association" founded by Carla Bley and her second husband, Michael Mantler, and features Cecil Taylor, Don Cherry, Roswwell Rudd, Pharoah Sanders, Larry Coryell, and Gato Barbieri. The intense interplay is swallowed up by the chaotic soundscape. Listen first to A1 with solos by Don Cherry and Gato Barbieri, and C1 with Cecil Taylor. This is the original US box set with booklet and two inserts featuring an interview with Michael mantler.
