We have just received a very obscure one, released in 1974, by a quartet led by Judy Bailey, a female jazz pianist who was active in the local scene in Sydney, Australia in the 1970s. She is probably not a well-known musician in Australia. In addition to her own composers' scores, the quartet plays famous pieces by Clare Fischer and George Shearing in a very orthodox manner without any freaky interplay. It's a smooth jazz piece without any special features, but what is this indescribable, pleasant feeling of well-being? In short, it's an excellent performance. The piano solo at the end of the album is also soothing.
