This is the only album released in 1982 by The Last Man in Europe Corporation, a unit consisting of Paul Martland and Trevor Abbott that debuted on Bill Nelson's Cocteau Records label in 1981. The album opens with spoken word, followed by "A2," which has a wild and cool blurring of human-powered rhythm machine beats, "A3," which expresses a gloomy world with its wide-spaced industrial beat and dark synthesizer sounds, and "A6," a downtempo tune with an ethnic feel and unique floating sensation. A6, a down-tempo tune with an ethnic feel and a unique floating atmosphere, is a powerful piece of synth wave filled with a left-field atmosphere with a touch of ambient feeling. The minimalistic artwork is also extremely excellent. Highly recommended
