Formed in 1962 in Strasbourg, a city on the Rhine River in northeastern France, Les Percussions de Strasbourg has been active for 60 years, and has released a number of classic albums with impressive silver print and black typography on the cover. The album was released in 1967. This is the US pressing released in 1969. Epervier de te Faiblesse, Domine" by Milan Stibilj, a Slovenian composer with a strange poetry reading, "Alternances" by Makoto Shinohara, a Japanese composer with a unique floating pause. Dutch composer Peter Schat's "Signalement" is a 20-minute long piece.
