The album was released in 1977 by Theo Blaise Kounkou, a singer from the Central African Republic (formerly Zaire) who played with the African All Stars, and was also a member of the Afro-Latin band Orchestre Poly-Rhythmo De Coutou. The album was recorded in the same year as African All Stars' classic album "Les Champions". The album was recorded in the same year as the famous African All Stars album "Les Champions", but the members of the group were almost completely different, and it seems to have been recorded with musicians who were assembled for Theo Blaise Kounkou's solo work. Theo Blaise Kounkou's vocals are very pleasant with his high tone and tasteful voice against the rhythm section grooving slowly, and the flowing electric guitar with wet tones. I think this is one of the best African Rumba albums of the '70s. The warm sound quality is also very nice.
