Titiek Sandhora
Si Djaket Biru
Mutiara (Indonesia) 1970
MLL-034 (LP)
sleeve : VG+(heavy scuffing on sides)
media : VG/VG (light crackling noise from fine scratches/some parts with crackling noise, B:off-center)
An album released in 1970 by Titiek Sandhora, an Indonesian singer/actress who has been active on the front lines since the late 1960s. She is said to be famous in Indonesia, and a large number of albums were released from 1969 to the late 1970s. This is an early work from her "idol era," featuring colorful pop songs and ballads sung in a coquette and lovely voice, incorporating American pop styles such as 3-piece band garage psychedelic, folk, and oldies. Among them, A5 is a garage rock-style song with a wonderful, somewhat acidic-sounding performance, and A6 incorporates the style of Kroncong, an Indonesian traditional music.
A5: Ibu Tertjinta
A6: Satria Pudjaan
