Italian female jazz singer Tiziana Ghiglioni, who has left behind remarkable works such as her 1987 collaboration with Art Studio, Onde, and her 1988 album Yet Time, featuring a cover of Milton Nascimento's masterpiece "Empty Faces," famously performed by Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66. This album, released in 1987 on the Italian jazz label Soul Note, features contributions from Steve Lacy, Franco D'Andrea, Jean-Jacques Avenel, and Oliver Johnson. The highlight is undoubtedly the cover of a track originally sung by Irene Aebi on Steve Lacy's 1979 masterpiece The Owl, released on Pierre Barouh’s French label Saravah. Lacy's shimmering soprano saxophone delivers an oriental melody that evokes a sense of Japanese influence, blending beautifully with Tiziana's husky vocals to create an ethno-spiritual jazz tune. Franco D'Andrea's piano solo is equally outstanding. The album is filled with tracks that allow you to fully enjoy Tiziana's magical vocal performances. Highly recommended.

Note: There is a minor pressing error on the first half of track A1, resulting in intermittent light noise. Other than that, the album is in normal condition.
