An album released in 1983 by Italian female jazz singer Tiziana Ghiglioni, who masterfully sings across a range from modern to free jazz. Accompanied by a piano trio consisting of Kenny Drew (ac-p), Niels-Henning Orsted Pedersen (b), and Barry Altschul (dr), she delivers stunning performances of modern jazz classics such as Cole Porter's "All of You," John Coltrane's "Naima," and Thelonious Monk's "Straight No Chaser." This is an excellent album of straight-ahead jazz vocals, where you can fully enjoy the charm of Tiziana's voice and singing. While it's hard to explain why her vocals are so good, it seems to contain a unique element that resonates with the molecules of one's cells.
A3: Naima
B4: Straight No Chaser
