A live recording album featuring Japanese percussionist Toshiyuki Tsuchitori’s first solo concert, held in Paris, France, in 1978. Tsuchitori is well-versed in ancient music and has collaborated with a wide range of artists across genres, including Ryuichi Sakamoto, Toshinori Kondo, and Kaoru Abe. This album marks the debut release from his independent label, D.Y.M. Records. Before this release, Tsuchitori had recorded Origination with Mototeru Takagi in 1975 and Disappointment-Haterruma with Ryuichi Sakamoto in 1976, both released by ALM Records, run by Kojima Recordings. However, this is his first solo album, and it showcases an astounding array of his signature vocal performances and percussion improvisations. This remarkable album captures Tsuchitori at his peak. Along with the two subsequent albums, Breath and Ajagara, both released by D.Y.M. in 1980, this album forms a cohesive trilogy.
