An album released in 1976 by Japanese pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto, who made his professional debut at the age of 19 in 1967 and released his first album, "Midnight Sugar," from Three Blind Mice in 1974, subsequently achieving success both domestically and internationally. The recording session took place at Onkyo Haus and featured American bassist Sam Jones and drummer Billy Higgins, who were in Japan that year. Yamamoto's performance is filled with blues feeling, and the rhythm section delivers an unsurprisingly stable and superb groove, showcasing a remarkable combination. The recording quality is also excellent, with each instrument positioned clearly and mildly in the sound field, creating a pleasant ensemble. Original pressing.
