This was featured in the guidebook OBSCURE SOUND REVISED EDITION. The first album released in 1981 by Uakti, an advanced Brazilian folk music group led by cellist/composer/arranger Marco Antonio Guimaraes, who has also worked with Milton Nascimento and Manhattan Transfer. Milton Nascimento participated as artistic director. A3 is a session of various instruments such as shawlo and tabla based on traditional Brazilian music, and B3 continues from a flute and bass session to a tribal minimal percussion solo. The entire album is a neo-acoustic music with a unique cosmic view that connects ancient music with the present and future. The world view is similar to that of Egberto Gismonti's Carmo label and Italy's Walter Maioli. The inner sleeve has a graphic score for each song.
