This is an album by pianist Uki Iwasaki, released in 1986 on the Evica label of High Bright, which releases mainly classical works. Recorded live at the Vario Hall in Tokyo in the same year with the cooperation of dbx, the effects/professional brand that introduced many famous machines to the world. On the A-side, the piece features Berg's A1, which makes extensive use of perfect fourths and augmented fourths/sevenths, and Schonberg's A2, which is said to be the first work that attempted to destroy traditional tonality before the 12-tone row technique was introduced. The B-side features works by American Neo-Romantic composer Samuel Barber, who combines precise composition and beautiful melody. This is a rather hard to find item.
