This is the first solo album released in 1986 by Ulisses Rocha, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who is also known for his work with Cesar Camargo Mariano. The album was produced by Andre Geraissati, who also produced for Gismonti's Carmo label, and features Marlui Miranda and Nico Assumpcao in the credits. The album features a passionate Brazilian Jazz A2 with sharp technical gut guitar and modal saxophone, Ethnic Jazz A3 with gut guitar and tabla, and B1 with a cover of Egberto Gismonti's classic. This album is comparable to Degas & Salazar's albums on the same label. Unfortunately, there is no jacket.
A1: a Voz No Telefone
