This is a compilation album produced by composer/poet Paulo Cesar Pinheiro and released in 1988, featuring artists from the northeastern Brazilian state of Bahia such as Gilgerto Gil, Luiz Caldas and Ara Ketu. All of the songs on the album were written by Paulo Cesar Pinheiro and composed by Edil Pacheco for this compilation. The warm sound of the guitars and the husky voice of Gilberto Gil are a perfect match for B1, and the whole album is full of carnival-like songs based on batucada rhythms with thick Brazilian percussion.

A5: Luiz Caldas "Badaue"
B1: Gilberto Gil "Oju-Oba"
