An album released in 1980 featuring electronic music produced at the Computer Music Studio at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. A four-channel digital-to-analog converter designed and built by Joseph Zingeim was connected to a Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-10 mainframe, creating an online interactive system. Four composers used this system to produce electronic music. Track A1 by Dexter Morrill features soprano vocals, while track B2 by Robert Boyer processes cello performance through the computer. Track A2 by Bruce Pennycook is a tape music piece. The highlight is track B1 by Timothy Sullivan—a powerful electronic composition lasting over 12 minutes, created by processing percussion performances through the computer.

A2: Bruce Pennycook “If Carillons Grew Wings”
B1: Timothy Sullivan “Numbers, Names”
